Clear Protective Agent for Stone Surfaces

Bellinzoni Idea HP - 1L is a premium protective agent designed to shield stones from water, oil, grease, and humidity. It penetrates deeply into the stone, preventing efflorescence while allowing the stone to breathe without altering its natural color or creating an unsightly plastic film. Laboratory tests confirm that IDEA HP resists UV rays, maintaining its clarity and the stone's original color even over prolonged periods. This product is ideal for use on facades, tables, kitchen countertops, vanity tops, and more, effectively preventing mildew formation.

Method of Use:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Remove stains, mildew, and crusting to avoid difficulties after protection.
  2. Application:
  • Apply the product using a brush, roller, or spray gun.
  • Recommended Method: Use a brush to ensure better penetration into the stone. Applying IDEA HP with a brush and pressure helps it penetrate into frames and cavities.
  • Continuously apply the product without interruption until the stone is saturated and no longer absorbs more product.
  1. Temperature: During application and drying, ensure the substrate temperature is between 10°C and 30°C (50°F to 86°F).
  2. Special Instructions for Underfloor Heating: If applying to a floor with an underfloor heating system, turn off the heating and allow the stone to cool completely before application.

Coverage:

  • Polished or Grinded Marble and Granite (after grid 800): One liter (1 quart) of IDEA HP can treat 15 to 25 sqm (170 to 270 sq. ft.).
  • Calcareous Stone, Limestone, Sandstone, and Concrete (polished or grinded after grid 800): One liter of IDEA HP can treat 10 to 15 sqm (110 to 170 sq. ft.).
