HOW TO CLEAN AND SEAL NATURAL STONE BENCH TOPS
Cleaning and sealing natural stone helps to protect its beauty and ensure its longevity. Because stone is porous, it's important to protect your surfaces against harmful substances, dirt, and spills.
The following steps demonstrate the general process of cleaning and sealing your natural stone surfaces:
1. Apply and evenly distribute Lithofin MN Power-Clean diluted up to 1:10 and let the solution stand for 3-5 minutes before scrubbing the surface using the Edco White Power Pads. Continue scrubbing for a maximum of 10 minutes per area.

2. Remove excess solution and dirt using the Edco Merrifibre Universal White Microfibre Cloth. Thoroughly wipe the surface clean minimally twice with clean water and allow to dry.
3. After 24 hours, over the clean & dry surface, apply a liberal amount of Lithofin MN Stain-Stop using the Edco Merrifibre Universal White Microfibre Cloth evenly and allow to stand for a maximum time of 30 minutes in total. During this time, do not allow the surface to dry up. Best to check every 10 minutes and top up more Lithofin MN Stain-Stop as required. Do not allow product to stand for more than 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, thoroughly buff the surface dry using the Edco Merrifibre Universal White Microfibre Cloth in a circular motion until all the excess sealer is removed. Allow 24 hours curing time before allowing the surface to be used.
5. Maintain the surface using Lithofin MN Easy-Clean, just spray and wipe which is designed for everyday cleaning using the Edco Merrifibre Universal White Microfibre Cloth.
Be sure to follow the directions provided in the Technical & Safety Data Sheet very carefully, and to retain your stone's natural beauty, reseal once or twice per year or according to the manufacturer's instructions.
