POST INSTALLATION WITH KONIG NEUTRAL CURE SILICONES

We are introducing a new range of revolutionary silicone products used with natural stone. Konig silicones are designed to be used on sensitive stone surfaces especially marble, limestone, onyx and travertine. Regular silicones damages these stone surfaces as they have an acid curing system. With Konig's neutral cure silicones, you can be sure that it will work in your favour providing protection from water into the joints. It has anti-mould properties as well. Ideal for use on all wall to floor joints, shower walls, shower bases, kitchen benches, etc.. Konig's neutral cure silicones comes with many colour choices to choose from. Perfect for use on all your new installations.
        

POST INSTALLATION SELECTED CLEANING TOOLS.

Finely selected tools for all your post installation cleaning requirements. Our field technicians have been using these items as part of their professional selection of work tools producing safe while effective results on polished marble, limestone, travertine, sandstone, terrazzo, granite and all engineered surfaces. 

                              

POST INSTALLATION DIAMOND ABRASIVES

Here you would find a collection of diamond abrasives that are handy to have. The range from aggressive #50 grit right up to #3000 grit where very fine polishing is required. There is a choice of wet or dry use pads. They can be used on all stone types including marble, limestone, travertine, onyx, granite, etc.. Go with the correct sequence to achieve the desired finish. All grits are 105mm (4") and they are all velcro backed. To be used ideally with a slow speed handheld polishing machine. Our diamond abrasives also comes in handheld blocks to do minor touch up works. These diamond abrasive are resin coated to allow better contact with the stone surface for proper grinding results. Best to consult with our trained staff on which grits you require and at which grits you will have to stop at. Diamond abrasives have long replaced conventional carborandum abrasives.

    

POST INSTALLATION MARBLE FLOOR POLISHING PADS

We have 2 very special pads that are used to restore worned-out polished marble, limestone and travertine floors. They are diamond tipped and act as mild abrasive sanding pads. The Sienna Pad (Brown) is more aggressive and it is used to remove minor etch marks / minor scratches. These pads need to be placed under a proper slow speed floor grinding / srcubbing / polishing machine and used with a little water. Once the floor is prepared well with the Sienna Pads, you can then move on to using the Purple Pads which will futher smoothen of the floor ready to receive the polishing process. This process require practice and experience to produce good results. The behaviour of one stone type to another differs greatly. Consult with our senior consultants.

  

POST INSTALLATION MARBLE FLOOR POLISHING COMPOUNDS / POWDERS.

This process requires experience as polishing stone floors with polishing compounds / powders can be a huge task. Highly technical and requires some knowledge and understanding of the stone's characteristic before attempting this work. This work is often best left to stone care professionals.

      

POST INSTALLATION SPECIAL REQUIREMENT CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL PRODUCTS.

These are products developed to solve troubles associated with deep cleaning, stains, old wax removal, topical coating removal etc.. over natural stone and engineered surfaces. These products have to be tried out in small inconspicuous areas before attempting the whole. Here we have cream cleansers with micro abrasives, green mould remover, dark mould remover, a penetrating sealer softener, rust removers, mildew remover, oil stain remover and a soap film remover. There is also a special liquid wax for polished stone surfaces which will enhance the colours and give a little added protection to polished marble, limestone, travertine and granite. Some marble, limestone and travertine surfaces may be too sensitive to receive any of these products as it may require the surface finish to be restored after solving the problem at hand. Either way our consultants will be able to guide you in choosing the correct products. 

                     

POST INSTALLATION SURFACE DEEP CLEANING PRODUCTS

Kindly be aware that one product here is acidic (Lithofin MN Builders-Clean) and the other is alkaline (Lithofin MN Power-Clean). The acidic product cannot be used on acid sensitive surfaces such as marble, limestone and travertine. Consult with our consultant before using the acidic product on natural stone. All chemical products unless specifically mentioned has to be tried out in small inconspicuous areas before attempting the whole. These products produce excellent cleaning results over new and existing marble, limestone, granite, travertine and engineered surfaces. This clears the way to offer application of our premium range of penetrating sealer the stone surfaces and grout successfully.

    

POST INSTALLATION APPLICATION OF COLOUR ENHANCING PENETRATING SEALERS

There are two superior penetrating sealer here to choose from which have colour enhancing properties. Lithofin Stainstop PLUS provides excellent protection from both water and oil based contaminant however, Lithofin MN Colour-Intensifier only protects against water borne stains. Ideal for use on stone surfaces that looks tired and in need of a refreshed wetlook. These sealers do not change the physical properties of the surface. They will not make the surface more or less shiny. Works best with porous stone surfaces

  

POST INSTALLATION APPLICATION OF INVISIBLE PENETRATING SEALERS

5-Star penetrating sealers for use on marble, limestone, travertine, bluestone, granite, concrete and engineered surfaces. It contains high quality water and oil resistant components to keep stains away. Does not change or darken the appearance of the surface. Treated surfaces are easier to maintain. We have 4 different sealers here to choose from. Some are water based while our most popular sealer Lithofin MN Stain-Stop is solvent based. Go with Lithofin PRO if pre-sealing is required. Excellent product which is truly cost effective. Sealed surfaces will be generally protected from the absorption of water and oil based stains. We recommend that all stone surfaces be sealed regularly.
